Nancy Goldman Therapy

nancy-goldman-therapy-logoThe setting of Harmony Farm is a powerful force for healing. By exploring the walking and riding trails or simply enjoying the solitude, individuals and groups are recharged by the natural world.

Forest Guided Therapy

Forest Therapy is a slow walk in nature with a certified forest therapy guide. It is about taking in nature with all of your senses, like noticing the shades of green in the treeline or feeling the movement of air on your skin. The practice is similar to mindfulness-based stress management. Forest therapy is about building a relationship between the participant and the natural environment.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is an emerging field in which horses are used to help people understand and resolve emotional issues. For information about Harmony Horses Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, please email info@harmonyfarmofms.com or call Nancy Goldman at 601.946.7482.

Harmony Horses Center for Growth and Healing Fund

Nancy Goldman has established the Harmony Horses Center for Growth and Healing Fund at the Community Foundation of Greater Jackson, a 501c3 chartered in Mississippi to support her charitable work for victims of trauma and/or other underserved clients who are unable (or have a reduced ability) to pay for services. Nancy would also like to extend her equine-facilitated and nature-based growth and learning services to those who could not otherwise afford such programs at Harmony Farm.

Hosting the fund through the Community Foundation ensures that contributions are tax-deductible, and 100% of funds support Nancy’s work with disadvantaged clients, and those experiencing nature at Harmony Farm.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful farm with us to celebrate our 6th anniversary. Your hospitality was incredibly perfect - the cottage was so comfortable with everything we needed. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The walk on the property was so peaceful - truly relaxing and tranquil. We loved breakfast in the gazebo - we enjoyed the beauty God’s world at its purest! We will plan to come back and bring our fishing poles! Your generosity will always be remembered - every time we use our mugs! Thank you for the thoughtfulness and care of writing us the welcome card too!

Jess and I have so enjoyed our fourth trip to harmony Farm. It’s hard to explain how much this place means to us as a couple. We look forward to this time to reconnect and relax all year long. This year, we went for long walks, read, played board games, and enjoyed the delicious food at Gibbs. This is really a magical place, and we always leave feeling so much closer as a couple. One f our favorite things to do is look back in the guest book at our old entries and talk about each visit. We love to see how much we’ve grown individually and together. We also love to see what’s changed around the Farm. We’re always so sad to leave, but we look forward to seeing you both on our next visit. Next year, we will be back for the first time as a married couple! We are so grateful you have chosen to share this place with us. Thanks for everything.

This place - heaven on earth - is so much more than any brochure on a website could describe. We feel special and honored to be invited into your sanctuary. We are grateful that you share all of this beauty with others. The animals here are wonderful. I really enjoyed being around horses again after all these years. Nancy, you are obviously good at what you do and have an ease about you that makes you so comfortable to be around. We love all of the little special touches everywhere - the little flower bouquet, nuts, mugs, the gazebo, the landscape around the cottage, and the pixie garden. We loved the trails and swimming in the pond. We want to return with our 3 children; they would love it. Thank you for everything!!

Thank you so much for your gracious hospitality for my 2 & 4 legged family! Our afternoon and evening of rest was so peaceful, surrounded by all of the perfect touches for the 4 human, 4 horses, and 1 canine in our family! Your property is beautiful and provided peace of mind on our long journey from central Texas to upstate New York. My only regret is only spending one night here!

This farm is amazing and beautiful. It is just the perfect rest spot after a long drive from South Carolina. Piper and I had a good long walk through the pastures and woods. We then enjoyed the evening in the screened in porch watching fireflies and listening to nature's symphony. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for sharing your place with us.

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely piece of paradise with us! We have truly enjoyed our stay and only wish we had known to allow more time to stay. We enjoyed a beautiful walk this morning with our sweet little companion, Cheerio. We hope to return sometime soon and bring our horses as well. Thank you for your hospitality.

We all really enjoyed our stay at Harmony Farm. It was comforting to know that my horse was just right outside the cottage. Your farm is very peaceful and the perfect spot for a nice quiet overnight stay. The dogs enjoyed having a pen to run around and play in. Thank you for the hospitality and we look forward to staying with you in the future.

What a relaxing and serene location for your Bed and Breakfast! We enjoyed your hospitality and would definitely recommend you to anyone. One of the delights of your cabin is the fact that it is “all inclusive” - bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living space - and our breakfast right on the premises :) Thanks for making our trip to Mississippi great.

Leaving Harmony Farms has just one regret; that of not staying longer. How wonderful waking up to reciprocating coo’s, the beautiful autumn melody outside our windows and crisp, clean air fragranced by nature itself. Every need and desire was graciously shared with us by the appointments in our little cabin. We just love all of the personal details, the books and artwork especially. Our mugs will remind us to take time for ourselves and relax. Hope to come again when we can stay longer. And many thanks for my birthday cupcake! So special.

Although we could only stay for one night, we enjoyed the peace, ease, and comfort of your place very much. We loved the small little details which made this cottage so lovely and all the surrounding nature made it easy for us to slow down after our exhausting travel. The horses are beautiful. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and for your dinner recommendation, the place was one of the best we’ve eaten in the states so far. We would love to come back here at some time and enjoy the ease of this place for longer than one night.
